When you get to college you can do a lot of awesome stuff, both in your classes and by getting together with other students. "Like what?" you ask. Well, in October 2007 students on the Solar Car Project traveled to Australia to race their car against teams from all over the world. There are a lot of reasons why students get together: some share common interests, while others share common backgrounds. Some get together for the common good. Students in Engineers for a Sustainable World, for example, take trips every year to help people improve their commmunities. In 2005, for example, the organization's students helped residents of India's Andaman Islands recover from the huge floods of a giant tsunami.
