Stanford Engineering Dean Jim Plummer; HP Labs Director of Strategy George Dies; fellowship recipients David Jacobs, Daniel Sanchez Martin, Olasupo Johnson, and Brandon Heller; and Richard Friedrich, director of HP’s Open Innovation Office

May 2009. Hewlett Packard is supporting four engineering students for the next three years with new fellowships announced May 1. The students’ research covers a wide range of technology challenges: digital photography, organic electronics, network power consumption, and parallel processing.
