Professor Hildemann specializes in the study of air pollutants. Her research interests include organic aerosols, indoor air pollutants, and source emissions characteristics. Current projects include the sources of indoor bioaerosols (molds and bacteria), measurement of near-proximity exposure to secondhand smoke, emissions from "green" construction adhesives, and characterization of thermodynamic properties for organic aerosols.
