Olivier de La Grandville
Olivier de La Grandville is visiting professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University, a position he has held since 1988. A professor of economics at the University of Geneva between 1978 and 2007, he has also held visiting positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Ecole Polytechnique of Lausanne, University of Neuchâtel, University of Western Australia, and more recently at Frankfurt University.
He is the author of seven books on a wide range of topics in microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance, ecolomic growth and development. His last two books are Bond Pricing and Portfolio Analysis - Protecting Investors in the Long Run, MIT Press, 2002, and Economic Growth - A Unified Approach, Cambridge University Press, 2009.
His research work has been published in international journals such as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organization, Journal of Economics, Financial Analysts Journal, Oxford Review of Economic Policy, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Australian Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Journal of Inequalities in Pure and Applied Mathematics, and many other scholarly journals. He currently works on the theory of economic growth.
