Robert MacCormack

Professor MacCormack develops numerical procedures for solving the equations governing viscous compressible flow. Recent efforts have been directed at developing implicit procedures for three dimensional flow and for hypersonic flows containing regions of chemical and thermal non-equilibrium. Current research efforts are also directed at developing procedures for solution to Maxwell's equations.
