ICME offers a variety of summer workshops to students, ICME partners, and the wider community. This year's series of day-long workshops is happening from August 17-22, 2020, as detailed below. Introduction to Programming in R
This workshop is recommended for those who want to learn the basics of R programming in statistics, science, or engineering. The goal of this workshop is to familiarize participants with R's tools for scientific computing and data analysis. Lectures will be interactive with a focus on learning by example, and assignments will be application-driven.
About the Instructor: Andreas Santucci is a computational statistician, currently practicing Data Science at Google and Lecturing at Stanford University, where he teaches graduate students in STEM fields how to program in Python and C++.
