All staff are invited to a celebration as the fall quarter gets underway, to reconnect in this beautiful outdoor venue! Activities include a free concert by the Latin Rhythm Boys, an onstage welcome from our President and Provost (at 12:30), a free individual box lunch, photo stations, and some fun surprises. Please bring your mask, a blanket/towel to lounge on the lawn, and enjoy the camaraderie! You'll also be welcomed by many of our leaders and by several staff groups.
In addition, you'll be able to participate in The COVID19 Remembrance Project: Apart-Together art installation project by painting a petal to join other people's petals to form flowers. Over 600 flowers will represent the more than 600,000 lives lost to COVID in the US.
Let us know if you'll attend!
Please RSVP (the link is in the lefthand column) so we have enough food and surprises; food and surprises are available until they run out. The event will be held rain or shine.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis
Carpooling, Marguerite, walking, or bicycling to Frost is encouraged. If you won’t already be on the main campus that day, free parking is available (until the lot is full) for those who register your vehicle on the event parking registration form (in the Galvez parking lot, corner of Galvez Street and Campus Drive; see parking map).
Need a disability-related accommodation?
If you need a disability-related accommodation (such as sign language interpretation), email email@example.com. Requests should be made by September 20.
Follow public health guidelines
We are required to follow guidelines in place to ensure our collective health and safety; please review the most recent guidelines on the Health Alerts website. Masks are strongly recommended when within six ft of others. Although Frost is large and holds 8,000 people, there will be times during this event when you may be within six ft of others, such as when obtaining lunch or greeting others, so please bring your mask.
