Tamer Shabani

B.S., M.S., Civil & Environmental Engineering
I come from a family where my mom worked seven days a week to sponsor my education and send me first to a community college in New Jersey before I transferred to Stanford.

It was always her dream to see this come to fruition. Unfortunately, she passed away, and so coming to terms with not having her here has been a little hard to think about. But I’m excited to honor her legacy. It’s my dream to pay respects to her for the first time wearing my graduation gown and having my Stanford engineering degrees in my left hand and flowers in my right.
