For many students, college is a life-changing experience. The Equity and Inclusion Initiatives team aims to support undergraduate students throughout their academic journey.

Through our programs, students can get a head start on college life, receive financial relief for summer sessions and get more experience in calculus and computer science with help from a graduate student mentor.

Most important, students can build community and make lifelong connections through our many student societies.

“As a first-generation student, navigating through college can feel overwhelming. Luckily, I was able to form part of the Stanford Summer Engineering Academy (SSEA) ... that provided the exposure, guidance, and friendships that I needed to succeed in the field.”
