Undergraduate Visiting Research Program

Main content start

The Undergraduate Visiting Research (UGVR) Program is aimed at building understanding between U.S. and international students.

The program builds collaboration between Stanford and selected universities by attracting top undergraduate students to Stanford to work with faculty and students on research in the summer. By being part of the UGVR cohort,  students learn from and enhance Stanford undergraduate and graduate students’ experience with an international population, broadening the perspective of both groups.

Interested Stanford School of Engineering faculty can submit research position descriptions and required skills/background in the fall. The partner universities recruit and pre-select top candidates among junior students. Stanford faculty then make final decisions about accepting candidates.

Eligibility

All Academic Council Faculty in the Stanford School of Engineering are invited to apply.
