Stanford Engineering is known for its academic rigor and unparalleled research. Here, you can pursue your passion to build sustainable urban systems, develop new modes of transportation and discover how to cure diseases with the help of technology.
We’re also known for our breathtaking campus, the hundreds of student groups that help you connect and access to research opportunities and mentorship. With several departments, institutes, centers and labs, the School of Engineering offers you countless ways to create your own impact, in and out of the classroom.
Next year I will be the president of the Society of Women Engineers at Stanford (SWE). I joined SWE as an intern my freshman year, and each step of the way I always thought, maybe I just want to be a SWE member and nothing else, which would have been totally fine and fun.
