Global Engineering Programs

Global Engineering Programs aims to enhance engineering education by providing students with an opportunity to learn about technology and engineering globally, to build professional networks, and to gain real-world work experience in a culturally diverse and international environment.

Global Engineering Programs Snapshot: 

  • Global Engineering Internship - Pair up with an exciting and innovative internship in China or India! Utilize your engineering skills abroad in an immersive, international and cultural experience. 
  • Faculty-led Programs - Assist faculty members on their global projects! Apply your expertise to a variety of departments and develop interdisciplinary engineering skills. 
  • Service-learning Opportunities - Address needs in communities overseas and work to engineer solutions to complex problems. Partner with a local company or nonprofit to make a difference!

Updated Eligibility Requirements!

Students are no longer required to be declared in the School of Engineering - complete at least two engineering fundamental-approved courses (excluding ENGR 70A and CS 106A) prior to departure or have a significant educational background in engineering.
