Global Engineering Programs aim to enhance engineering education by providing students with an opportunity to learn about technology and engineering globally, to build professional networks and to gain real-world work experience in a culturally diverse and international environment.

GEI Applications

Exciting summer engineering internship opportunities are available in countries/ regions including China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, and Vietnam from late June to early September.

Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.

2025 GEI application will open in mid-November, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

Students are no longer required to be declared in the School of Engineering. They must complete at least two engineering fundamental-approved courses (excluding ENGR 70A and CS 106A) or have a significant educational background in engineering.
